How to Print Your Google Slides Presentation

Printing Your Google Slides Presentation

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • You’ll notice a preview of the presentation and printing settings here.

  • Click the Destination drop-down arrow to show the list of printers. Select your suitable printer.

  • Note: remember to install and connect printers to your computer through a cable or a wireless connection.

Select Which Slides to Print according to Your Needs

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • You’ll notice a preview of the presentation and printing settings here.

  • Thanks to Pages option, you are able to print the whole presentation or only some desired slides. Click on the arrow in the right of the Pages option.
    1. To print all slides of your presentation: Select All.
    2. To print specific slides: Select Custom. Then type the numbers of these slides in the below box, separated by commas.

  • If you want to create physical copies for a range of slides, type the first and last slides with a dash in between.

Selecting How many Copies to Print

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • You’ll notice a preview of the presentation and printing settings here.

  • You can print one or several copies of your Google Slides presentation. Click on two arrows next to the Copies setting to adjust the number of copies, up arrow for increasing, down arrow for decreasing.

  • Also, you can type directly the number of copies you want to print in the box next to Copies setting (not the arrows).

  • In case your number of copies is more than one, the option Collate will appear. Choose this option if you want Print all pages of each copy before printing the second copy. Otherwise, your printer will print your slide pages separately. For example, You want to create Print 3 copies of a three-slide set. When you select Collate, it would print 3 times in order: 1,2,3;1,2,3;1,2,3. If not, all sets of each page will print together : 1,1,1;2,2,2;3,3,3.

Choose The Size of Paper

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • Dropdown More settings arrow.

  • Click Paper size drop-down arrow to show all available sizes of paper for printing your presentation; choose a suitable size. You can preview the change in the document preview.

Choosing How Many Slides per Page to Print

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • Dropdown More settings arrow.

  • Pages per sheet: This option allows you to choose how many slides per page to print. Also, the document preview will change according to your selection. If you’re sharing documents with a large audience, this option is helpful since you can save paper, ink, and time.

Scale Options

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • You’ll notice a preview of the presentation and printing settings here.

  • Dropdown More settings arrow.

  • Scale: Click the drop-down arrow, you’ll see some options:
    1. Default: select this option if you want to align your slide to the upper-left corner of the sheet.
    2. Fit to printable area: Adjust your slide to fit the printing area.
    3. Fit to paper: Adjust your slide to fit the paper size for printing.
    4. Custom: To adjust the zoom when printing. When you select Custom, two arrows will appear below. You can change this value by clicking the up arrow for increasing, down arrow for decreasing. Besides, you can type the zoom value directly in the box next to these arrows.

  • The value you can select in this option is between a minimum of 10% and a maximum of 200%. All your changes will be shown in the document preview, located on the left of the window.

Print on Both Sides of The Paper

  • Open your computer, then open your Google Slides presentation.
  • Click File, select Print, or using shortcut keys: Ctrl + P, a new panel will appear.

  • Select Two-sided to print your slides on both sides of the paper.
